What is Bio Oil Stretch Mark Solution?
Bio Oil has become all the rage for many women in the last few years, especially since Kim Kardashian publicly claimed that she was using it to treat her stretch marks.
While it seems like it works from the look on some of her latest pictures..
There is no guarantee that this is true.
Why you may ask?
Kim has hundreds of agents, beauty assistant, spends millions of dollars just to keep herself looking as good as possible, all the time.
So the stretch marks or scars could just be hidden really well and not really healed.
But what’s the reality? Let’s take a peek.
Bio Oil has been around for such a long time, chances are you great-grandmother used it at some point(maybe). It was rather small and unknown at the start, grew in popularity and now can be bought almost everywhere in the world. If not, a shipment takes only a few days to arrive.
It has a reputation, but what we care about is only 1 thing.
Can It Help You Get Rid Of Your Stretch Marks?
The answer is… Probably not.
This product is advertised as the “miracle cure”, “works for everyone” and similar titles. For removing stretch marks, scars, making the skin more supple, increasing skin elasticity, can be used as a moisturizer, on any skin color and so on.
It however looks as if it does not work for everyone.
It seems to be average at it’s success rate. There are many other solutions that look like they have far better success rates our there.
However, it is NOT a bad product at all. See the reviews below to see that some like and some hate it.
It claims the following:
- Helps improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone.
- Effective for aging and dehydrated skin.
- Moisturizes skin and improves tone

When applying Bio Oil, be sure to do it 2x every day, for at least 3 months. The best technique to do so is using the circular massage motion, so it absorbs quickly and allows you to go on with your day. If pregnant, Bio-Oil is the best when used in the second trimester to all the areas that regularly receive stretch marks, such as breasts, the abdomen area, buttocks, thighs. Also, do not use on skin that has been broken.
“While it does scale down the stretch marks a bit, I am a bit disappointed since it’s not much of a moisturizer. It’s rather pricey though and you can use it up really fast if you aren’t careful and start applying it like crazy.”
“2 months later, I used up my first bottle. To be honest the only thing it did is made my face greasy and really wet when I used it for my scars that I had on my forehead. So it wasn’t good for my face, but I kept using it for 2 months for my stretch marks on my thighs. Well, nothing happened. “
“My SO has been using this for the last few weeks during her pregnancy, and there is only about 2 weeks left, and no stretch marks yet! I think we’ll get by without a single stretch mark like this, which is great.”
Bio Oil Stretch Mark Removal Ratings
Bio Oil, while it has been used by many and is loved by many, is almost equally hated as well. Reviews show a 50% chance of treatment. If you think 15$ of your money is worth a 50% chance to treat, go for it. If you however prefer more bang for your buck, there are other stretch mark creams that have a higher percentage of good user reviews.
